By the end of the year 2019, they expanded to other major cities like Mumbai and Greater Bombay. The year 2020 and the covid-19 pandemic helped in the company’s splurge. As local grocery shops shut down and curfews made people stay at home. Dealshare came forward to deliver daily essentials to doorsteps.
The pandemic helped Dealshare in expanding its services to further stations and it started operating in Ghaziabad and NCR region. The Dealshare platform is ever growing, now the company receives 55 thousand orders a day and has 3.2 million satisfied customers.
Dealshare is a small scale supply chain based startup that operates in tier 1 and tier 2 cities. Global giant e-commerce companies like Amazon and Flipkart are popular among urban upper-class people. To stand out from the crowd, Dealshare opted for a new method of operation. One that can help them bring the ‘WhatsApp first’ users to e-commerce and empower the regional market. The success of Dealshare was local suppliers and manufacturers. The founders realised that the suppliers and manufacturers, if worked together in an organised manner, had much more capacity than they knew they were capable of. Vineet Rao added AI and his experience into the mix of local traders and manufacturers to create the unicorn magic; Dealshare.
Dealshare reached out to the common people via WhatsApp to make the idea of e-commerce popular among them.They started with a primary base of 100-150 customers, which mostly included their friends and employees’ acquaintances in Jaipur. This figure eventually skyrocketed to 20,000 people. These were the clear signs that showed them their experiments were successful. The app was later developed after they realised the consumers were willing to try the online market if the purchase options are not complicated.
