What we can expect to see in Money Heist Season 5?
Netflix has already announced that the popular Money Heist show will come to an end with the fifth season. According to an article by Digitalspy.com, showrunner Alex Pina has given hints about what will happen to Tokyo and other members of the gang.
In a recent statement released by the streaming giant and Alex Pina, the showrunner stated that they’ve spent several months thinking about ways to put the Professor on the ropes. Also, he added that he has plans to create situations that will completely transform the outlook of the show’s characters.
Finally, Pina went on to add that the final season will be full-on war and the stakes are higher than ever. The upcoming season will be the most exciting one that viewers have experienced so far.
Money Heist Season 5 Release Date
Earlier, Money Heist Season 5 was scheduled to release on Netflix in April, but it’s no more the case now. As per a report by Express, we can expect to see the release date for Money Heist 5 after September 2021. And considering the recent statement by Netflix and Pina, that does make sense.
The production and filming of the show had to be suspended last year due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. After experiencing the delay, production for the show just ended earlier this year, and now it has moved to post-production.
With that in mind, we can expect to see the release of Money Heist 5 on Netflix later this year, most likely in the last three months of 2021. And if other big releases come on the streaming platform in these months, the release can get postponed to early 2022.
No of Episodes in Money Heist 5
Every season of Money Heist so far has been eight episodes. But that’s not the case with the final season.
The fifth season of the show will consist of 10 episodes, two more than any other season till now. That has indeed been good news for the fans of the series.
There have been rumours around that the final season will have more than 10 episodes. But considering that Netflix lists 10 episodes on the media centre, they’re most likely to be untrue.
