Suresh Vaidyanathan Of Twitter India Joins Mobikwik

Suresh Vaidyanathan, who was previously the Communication Head at Twitter India, joins the digital e-wallet company as a Director of Corporate communications at Mobikwik. He will be responsible for the matters concerning Government relations and external communications.

Mobikwik is now a largest growing digital e-wallet company offering a wide range of services to the users. There are around 55 million registered users in the company and due to the recent demonetisation, the users are now completely relying on electronic methods of payments. 

Twitter has been experiencing many exits by the senior leaders in the recent time. In November 2016, Parminder Singh who was an MD for Southeast Asia and the Middle East and India and Rishi Jaitley had resigned from Twitter India.

In the recent round of funding, Mobikwik managed to invest a massive Rs.300 Crore expansion in order to grow its user base to 150 million from 50 million in 2017. The digital e-wallet company is all set to launch offices in 13 different cities of the country and is on the verge of expanding its business.

Suresh Vaidyanathan has a great experience in the digital and telecom industry. He was earlier a part of the Communications team for Huawei and Tata Teleservices.  He carries a total of 18 years of experience in this industry.

In a conversation with the new Head of Communications of Mobikwik, Mr Suresh Vaidyanathan said, “We are aiming to make our Indian society a cashless society and keeping the vision of our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making India a cashless society. He also said, “I am excited to join the company and start incorporating decisions which can help the company to grow”.

There would be greater changes in the company’s profits with Mr Vaidyanathan coming in and the company is expected to achieve higher profits towards in the coming months/ years.
